Breeding pairs

Peanut & Albert (Java/Gandalf Line)

Peanut

Peanut and Albert have been separated. They produced 6 pups in two litters. One pup is still available (male).

Peanut & Mikey (Lauren/Vincent Line)

Mikey
Tonight (August 28), I put Peanut together with Mikey. Her pups were ready to be taken out of the nest and be tested on their own. The boys (Aaron and Ford) are currently with Rigel. He was Mikey's former tankmate. Rigel took to them pretty easily, but I know his weakness. :) I knew his food dish was empty (and he is a hefty, hungry boy), so I introduced him to the two boy pups, then put in a full dish of food, with some of his favorite seeds in it. So, he would sniff one of the boys, then run to the dish to pick out a favorite seed before Mikey could get it (even though Mikey wasn't there). Then he'd run into the corner to eat it, where the pups would climb all over him and try to groom him or each other. Then he'd sniff on them or chase them a little (trying to sniff while they were running around is more what it was), then he'd pass the dish and remember that he'd better get the good stuff before Mikey, and he'd abandon sniffing them to dig for the "good stuff", then run to the corner to eat it, where they would climb all over him again. This went on for about 45 minutes. Now, they are all three sitting around the dish eating what is left (the boring stuff). lol

Honeysuckle & Nihls (Java/Gandalf line)

Honeysuckle & Nihls were doing mating runs from as soon as they were together, so I wasn't surprised when she whelped on June 18th. She originally had 5 pups, but 2 died in the first 24 hours. With that being her first litter, it isn't too surprising. momdad

Honeysuckle is a honeycream spot and Nihls is a black spot. Honeysuckle's next litter will probably be coming anytime soon. I kept Annabelle from the first litter for my own breeding stock. The rest of the pups have been adopted. If you are intrerested in reserving pups from a future litter from this pair, please email me. Currently, 2 pups from future litters are reserved.

Annabelle & Bambi(Java/Gandalf x Lauren/Vincent)

This couple is in split screen right now. Annabelle is a yellow fox. Bambi is a polar fox. Annabelle & Bambi would likely give me 9 different colors: DEH, Lt. DEH, Yellow Fox, Lt. Yellow Fox, PEW, Nutmeg, Lt. CP Nutmeg, Red Fox, Lt. Red Fox, and Pale Argente Nutmeg. Annabelle is spotted, so there would be spotted pups from this pair.

Apollo & Beth (Java/Gandalf x Lauren/Vincent)

Beth & Apollo are too old be fertile anymore. They will remain together through the rest of their days. Beth is a golden agouti spot and Apollo is a black spot.

Sally & Isaac (Java/Gandalf x Lauren/Vincent)

Isaac & Sally are too old be fertile anymore. They will remain together through the rest of their days. Isaac is an ivory cream and Sally is an EM black.
